Beautiful Fish of Shark Bay
While at SHark Bay, we
visited a marine Park.
There we got to see many
of the beautiful fish
that inhabit the waters
of Western Australia.
Some were in tanks and
some in ponds. We even
got to watch some being
fed by the marine
biologist as she talked
about them all.
Yes, this crazy looking thing is actually a fish! A
Stonefish to be exact. They lurk on the bottom
hidden away and only move when they snatch a
bite to eat. Their spines are extremely poisonous
and can go through dive boots and fins! Yikes!
